{"id":1680,"date":"2011-04-04T04:05:20","date_gmt":"2011-04-04T04:05:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/findfreightloads.com\/blog\/?p=1680"},"modified":"2011-04-04T04:14:11","modified_gmt":"2011-04-04T04:14:11","slug":"1600-trucking-jobs-reported","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/findfreightloads.com\/blog\/1600-trucking-jobs-reported\/","title":{"rendered":"1,600 Trucking Jobs Reported"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The U.S. economy added 216,000 non farm jobs on a seasonally adjusted basis during March, and t<a href=\"http:\/\/www.findfreightloads.com\/\">rucking companies <\/a>accounted for 1,600 of those jobs, according to the preliminary estimates released April 1 by the U.S. Department of Labor\u2019s Bureau of Labor Statistics.<br \/>\n<center><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/thatgirlcarol.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/02\/happy_driver.jpg\" alt=\"Happy Driver\" width=\"310\" height=\"238\" \/><\/center>Total employment in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.findfreightloads.com\/\">trucking<\/a> in March was more than 1.267 million \u2013 down 186,000, or 12.8 percent, from peak trucking employment in January 2007. The BLS numbers reflect all payroll employment in for-hire trucking, but they don\u2019t include <a href=\"http:\/\/www.findfreightloads.com\/trucking-jobs.php\">trucking-related job<\/a>s in other industries, such as a<a href=\"http:\/\/www.findfreightloads.com\/available-truck-drivers.php\"> truck driver <\/a>for a private fleet.
